Sales Support Assoc

Position Summary:

A Sales Associate at SitOnIt Seating is responsible for various sales and sales support functions critical to the growth and success of the SitOnIt Mid-Atlantic Sales Team. These functions could require occasional local travel in the DMV market area.

Responsibilities and Essential Functions:

• Responsible for providing project & order management support for Mid-Atlantic team such as expediting and warranty claim management
• Ability to work directly with dealerships on pricing requirements, discounts and specifications.
• Assist Sales Team with scheduling activities including customer appointments, sales presentation set-ups or similar.
• Execute various internal procedures to support the sales process like special price requests, custom quote requests, and project registrations.
• Support Mid-Atlantic team by ordering brochures, fabric / finish samples, etc. when requested.
• Support Mid-Atlantic team by providing quotes to dealers upon request.
• Maintain and organize sample product inventory in coordination with OMX warehouse.
• Responsible for requests to provide sample deliveries or pick-ups.
• Responsible for working with internal teams to execute warranty claim management and order expeditor activities to assist Sales Team.
• Ability to deliver or pick-up sample chairs when needed.
• Ability to Update a Dealer or A&D library when needed.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point.

Qualifications, Skills and Education

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years sales support or relevant experience
• High School Diploma or equivalent

Preferred qualifications:

• Commercial furniture industry knowledge and experience
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Computer literate – Salesforce, Excel, PowerPoint, Word , Industry specification software knowledge (CAP, CET, etc)
• Capable of working in a high-performance environment.
• Work independently and as a team.
• Strong communication skills

Working conditions:

• Remote; DC or Northern Virginia
• Ability to work 45 hours a week and past 5 pm when needed
• Professional appearance

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift, move and deliver chair samples
