Project Manager II

Position Summary:

The Project Manager will be responsible for providing leadership, coordination, and support to ensure effective communication, development and implementation of projects, programs, and new initiatives.  Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, completion and realization of benefits for specific programs across the entire enterprise.   

Responsibilities and Essential Functions:

  • Lead the planning and implementation of a project through its full life cycle. Establish control and deliver measurable business benefits through the execution of the program.
  • Provideproject support from concept through the business case, development, and launch.
  • Develop, coordinate, maintain and communicate project schedule(s) to all stakeholders (consisting of Engineering, Marketing, Supply Chain, Production and Quality Management) on a regular basis.
  • Establish and drive realization of program/project deadlines; ensure all stakeholders are kept up to date on project status and achievements.
  • Analyze project performance, synthesize the information and report on project performance; completes rigorous risk analysis and creates mitigation strategies.
  • Manage successful stakeholder relationship across the organization. 
  • Develop a communication plan; articulate difficult and complex matters in a straightforward, transparent manner at all levels of the organization.
  • Provide recommendations and drive process improvements throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications, Skills and Education

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business, engineering or related field
  • 3+ years project management experience


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree or MBA
  • Experience working on New Product Development and launching products to market.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP®) certification
  • Experience using SmartSheet or similar project management software (i.e., Asana, Monday, Wrike, etc.)
  • Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma and other operational excellence tools
