An Inventory Coordinator provides day-to-day accountability for supply inventories, monitoring volumes, flow, and sourcing. They will ensure that procurement requests accurately reflect what was received and maintained within the ERP inventory system and reconcile all discrepancies.

Responsibilities and Essential Functions:

Coordinates daily receiving schedule and organizes purchase orders for material handlers.
Enters all materials received daily into the ERP inventory system by matching packing lists to what was purchased (PO#, Part#, Qty, etc.).
Works directly with the vendor to reconcile all receiving discrepancies as they occur to avoid errors in supplier invoicing.
Maintain accuracy of Kanban cards and make changes when required. Maximize min/max and levels and re-order quantities within material lead timeframe.
Performs cycle counts as required by product on stored inventory.
Facilitate and support annual physical inventory counts.
Make sure all bins, racks, skids, are properly labeled for all inventory.
Perform audits as required to assure accuracy and determine root causes for inaccuracies, providing feedback to management regarding errors
Expected to contribute to continuous improvement of inventory management process.
Performs other duties as assigned by manager.
Does all of the above in a manner that meets company safety requirements.

Qualifications, Skills and Education:

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or GED
1+ years’ experience in inventory control
Forklift experience
Experience with Kanban systems required
Experience using manufacturing ERP system (Syteline preferred).
Knowledge of Microsoft applications
Good verbal communications skills

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in manufacturing setting.

Physical Demands

Work involves walking, talking, hearing, using hand manual tools, using battery operated or electrical hand tools, driving motorized forklifts, and pulling and pushing manual material handling equipment.
May be required to lift, push, pull, and/or carry up to 50 lbs.
May be required to stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
Moderately loud noise levels in plant environment.
