Employee Engagement Specialist

Position Summary:

Responsibilities and Essential Functions:

  • Responsible for executing strategic employee programs and engagement activities across all locations, such as employee events, volunteering initiatives, coordinating company parties, community partnership benefits, and other events
  • Amplify the values and culture of Exemplis.
  • Oversee the delivery of our pulse engagement survey, including working with our business partner team on action planning
  • Administer employee recognition, appreciation, and engagement programs, including our community service programs 
  • Support the development company newsletter content and weekly Internal Communication e-mail updates in accordance with brand guidelines
  • Plan and deliver unique employee events and experiences for our employees
  • Develop and implement an annual calendar of events and corresponding budget
  • Lead planning meetings with engagement committees at each brand / location 
  • Manage vendor relationships with caterers, events halls, etc.  Conduct venue research, participate in contract negotiations.
  • Support the development of social media content; monitor and respond to postings on sites.  
  • Spread the positive vibe!

Qualifications, Skills and Education

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years’ experience in event planning,  communications and employee engagement
  • Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Psychology (I/O), related degree or equivalent work experience

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree a plus
  • Ability to build strong relationships inside and outside of the organization
  • Excellent project management skills; organized, resourceful, excellent follow-through, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize.
  • Passion for people!
