Employee Engagement Coordinator - TEMP

Position Summary:

We are seeking a positive, energetic, and highly organized temporary, part-time, onsite Employee Engagement Coordinator to support employee events, onsite experiences, and engagement activities.This is a hands-on, action-oriented role that provides critical onsite support for employee engagement events across multiple locations, internal communications, and everyday office experiences that bring our culture and values to life. The ideal candidate loves being where the action is, thrives on collaboration, and takes pride in creating memorable moments that elevate the employee experience.This temporary role will work approximately 15-20 hours per week and must be onsite at our Cypress, CA location on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. This is a three (3) month temporary role with the potential to extend based on business needs.
Responsibilities and Essential Functions:
- Execution of employee programs and engagement activities across all locations, including employee events, volunteering initiatives, coordination of company parties, community partnership benefits, and other events.
- Cultivate and amplify our culture and Company values.
- Assist with employee recognition, appreciation, and engagement programs.
- Assist with drafting Company newsletter content and weekly internal communication e-mail updates in accordance with brand initiatives and guidelines.
- Plan, coordinate, and support virtual and onsite events and experiences for our employees including community service events, employee engagement events, ERG events, cultural events/holidays, etc.
- Participate in planning meetings with engagement committees for multiple brands / locations.
- Manage ordering of onsite snacks, catering, and other materials and supplies needed for events.
- Assist with restocking of snacks, onsite meals, and setup of onsite events. Photograph onsite events and produce event recaps from all locations for newsletter and leadership meetings.

Qualifications, Skills and Education:
Required Qualifications:
- Experience in event planning, communications, and/or employee engagement.
- Strong project management skills - Organized, resourceful, excellent follow-through, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in psychology, sociology, communications, a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Ability to build strong relationships inside and outside of the organization.
- Experience designing and implementing communications and engagement strategies (ideally in multi-site environment).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Role-model behavior; ability to foster a cooperative, team-oriented environment.
- Positive, flexible & creative.
