Director of Project Management

We are searching for an experienced leader to help ensure our new products, large-scale projects and other business critical deliverables are executed efficiently and effectively!  As the Director of PMO you will build and lead an ePMO team to execute on projects, as well as oversee our NPI product portfolio to ensure on-time launches.  

Please Note: This position is a hybrid position with weekly onsite days being required in the Cypress, CA area.

Responsibilities and Essential Functions:

• Develop overall vision, strategy and structure for the ePMO office.  Ensure appropriate resource planning for successful delivery of key organizational projects and on time product launches.
• Ensure the successful initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, controlling and closure of multiple New Product Introduction projects through to production in our manufacturing facility.
• Support leadership of new product introduction projects through to production in our manufacturing facility. 
• Clearly communicate to members of the leadership team around the health and status of projects; drive transparency and governance across functions related to projects.
• Adapt and adjust project management and execution methodology to best leverage the strengths of the organization.
• Proactively build our PMO capability, promoting teamwork, goal setting and a strong sense of accountability.

Qualifications, Skills and Education

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
• 10+ years’ experience managing enterprise wide projects and NPI (stronger focus on the enterprise PMO a plus!)
• 5+ corporate leadership experience
• Experience in a manufacturing environment 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree preferred
• Experience using SmartSheet is a plus!
• A strong grasp of the stage gate process, Six Sigma and / or Value Stream Mapping
• Proven experience ensuring efficient, on time completion of projects
