Business Systems Analyst II / III

Position Summary:

The Business Systems Analyst will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, & documenting requirements; developing specifications & solutions for software projects with focus on Microsoft Dynamics AX.

This position can be worked ONSITE or HYBRID.  Level II (BSA) or III (Senior BSA) based off of experience. 

Responsibilities and Essential Functions:

  • The Business Systems Analyst will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, & documenting requirements;  developing specifications & solutions for software projects with focus on Microsoft Dynamics AX
  • Consulting with the business, the individual will play an active role defining & documenting business processes, data maps, requirements, functionality, & end-user solutions.
  • Apply their excellent analytical skills to be applied in design and implementation of complex algorithms and software solutions; Specifying system designs, data, workflow, & logical processes to meet project objectives.
  • This position will perform application configuration & management, customer relationship management, project coordination, and identify / evaluate / review new technologies for potential solutions; and will perform data extraction & analysis.
  • Technical assistance will be provided by responding to inquiries from end-users and/or technical staff regarding application, system, & reporting issues, and train end-users and/or technical support staff on software applications.

Qualifications, Skills and Education

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer science, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 4+ years’ experience, including support, analysis, & project implementation.
  • 2+ years’ experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 or D365 with emphasis on Trade & Logistics, Manufacturing and Advanced Warehouse Management functions.

Preferred Qualification

  • Familiarity with Supply Chain Management including Purchasing processes.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft tools including SharePoint, Smartsheet and Power BI.
